Musical Director required: The Leiston Band of the Royal British Legion are seeking an experienced Musical Director for our main band. As we approach out 125th year we are looking for someone who can continue our musical development as well as bring new ideas and a sense of fun to rehearsals and engagements. We are (currently) a non-contesting band with a reasonably busy programme of engagements. Some are for the local Royal British Legion and others are more traditional fund raising gigs. Further details of what we do can bee seen elsewhere on this website. We rehearse twice weekly in Leiston, East Suffolk, on Mondays and Thursday evenings.  We have a growing Training Band, with it’s own bandmaster, and currently have 25 active senior players.  Interested applicants should send a short resume to Richard Wilding, our Chairman, via this link
